WHAT: HATHA YOGA ONLINE WHEN: SUNDAY 12th July TIME: 9.00AM - 9.45AM
It is a great privilege for me to invite Aparna Shukla to teach at Yoga With Orlaith online on Sunday 12th of July at 9am. Aparna is the owner of Shubh Connections @shubhconnections and has such a wealth of experience. Come and join Aparna for a Hatha Yoga class starting with Pranayama, gentle stretches, a warm-up, Sun Salutations and ending with a short meditation in Shavasana.
Aparna is a Yoga Alliance certified Yoga Teacher, MBSR [Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction] Teacher and a qualified Nurse & Midwife with a Masters Degree in Nursing. Her special interest in pregnancy led her to design the program Mindful Mamas and Papas and she also facilitates Holistic Child Birth classes. Currently, she is working as a Midwife Nurse Advisor for VHI.
Aparna was born in India but has been living in Ireland since 2002 and is in a unique position to understand the Eastern and Western philosophy and mindset. Aparna combines scientific knowledge with ancient wisdom, she practices and teaches Mindfulness, Yoga, meditation, and spirituality in her daily life. Aparna has provided Mindfulness training to Nurses, midwives, HSE staff, INMO staff, Administration staff, IT professionals and Industrial relation officers, Physiotherapists, Health Care Assistants Elderly care workers, Ph.D. students for Universities in India and Ireland.
I hope to join in myself from County Cork where I will be staying with family, and I would love to see you join online for this very exciting class too!
